Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss say no to a photoshoot with Lady Gaga
i-D Magazine asked Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss to share the cover of September's issue with Mademoiselle Gaga but the two supermodels said no to the proposition: "Naomi and Kate refused to play second fiddle to Gaga and insisted on having their own retouching done, so they were all shot separately" according to The Daily Mail.
So now the magazine has to make one cover for each of them. I don't know if Lady GaGa did something wrong to Naomi or Kate but it's obvious they don't like her and don't feel she deserves to pose with them on a magazine cover (a little jealousy going on because Gaga is the little protégée of the designers, maybe, maybe not).
It's not the first time that a fashion icon refuses to work with the pop sensation. A little while ago, Grace Jones refused to work with Lady Gaga saying that "she prefers to work with people more original and who don't copy her".
I think Grace Jones should make the difference between "copying" and "to be inspired". It's obvious that Gaga has been inspired by previous trendsetters and controversial artists who were (and for some of them still are) as original as her such as Madonna, David Bowie, and GRACE JONES! Instead of feeling insulted by the fact that Gaga's work is inspired by her, Miss Jones should feel flattered.
The Commanders are OUT!
