When old meets new!
Have you ever listened one of your favorite artists on the old cassettes tapes that you would put in the radio and would have to flip it on the other side to listen to the rest of the album? I'm sure we both agree that it wasn't the most convenient way of listening to music since now we have our beloved CD's and different generations of Ipod...but who doesn't miss the design of a nice old cassette tape, huh?? I know I do!!
Well, thanks to Nathan Lee and Trevor Coghill (two Canadians, creators of "Contexture Design" based in Vancouver), some lucky people can enjoy the performance of a high speed Ipod Nano paired with the look of a 90's cassette. Those industrial designers have made stuff inspired from urban culture, environment,...Their latest (and must say: HOTTEST!) creation was that Ipod Nano case made from cassette tapes (re-designed and rebuilt to fit the Ipod)!!! Unfortunately, Contexture Design released that marvellous creation in limited edition and is now....sold out (go ahead, you can cry...I did too). But at least, I had to give them a round of applause for this genius idea. Go check out their website and send as many messages you can to make them sell these little babies again!!! http://www.contexture.ca/
Don't you loooooooove them?
